It's a challenge for Australia to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are all that remain for a side that has won it all.

It needed until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It's difficult for their hitters to hold a record if not provided the possibility.

Many contend the case for final game tension. Some might respond with the challenge that comes when confronting a historic chase and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What is certain is this ton was much more difficult to see coming.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 happened while she topped the run-scoring charts, but this performance was preceded by six games in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had not exceeded 30 runs.

"If you've been watching me in practice sessions, it was a frustrating experience because it seemed I lacked timing completely," stated Healy.

"Yet the moment you step out on the field, your competitive instincts activate and you just lock into the contest."

"An opportunity to take the field and engage in competition with her and simply enjoy myself in that regard, kind of motivated me," commented Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her fastest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 as she flogged anything short, hitting 21 fours and three maximums.

When she was out Australia required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is new territory so I'm happy we have the belief to do that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if we do, we know we can succeed."

These statements will be the last rival teams at this World Cup should hear.

In recent days a feeling they will win from any position has only strengthened - this triumph coming after success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final place may well be secure.

It was in the semi-finals they were eliminated from the previous year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a match Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the inaugural occasion at an important competition.
