"When comparing just the previous 90 days, assaults have risen three times over," emphasized the official. "From the commencement of the year there have been numerous attacks on rail networks, and over 3,000 train facilities have been damaged."

The minister also observed that ongoing escalating assaults especially target trains, with particular focus on targeting train drivers.
