Her colleague, Staff Sgt Andrew Wolfe, twenty-four years old, is still in the hospital in grave state.

The commander-in-chief explained he’s discussed a White House visit for the parents of both members of the West Virginia Guard.

Mourners came together over the weekend at Webster County high school in the state to remember Sarah.

“Sarah was the type of pupil that teachers wished for. She carried herself with calm resilience, a contagious smile and a positive energy that inspired people around her,” Jarrod Hankins, the principal of Beckstrom’s previous school, informed the Associated Press. “She was sweet, caring and always willing to help others.”

Service arrangements for Beckstrom are still being arranged.

Authorities have charged a 29-year-old individual from Afghanistan with a charge of first-degree murder and charges of attempted murder while armed.
