Head and Duckett were on rival teams in the past two Ashes contests.

Australian opener Travis Head disclosed that he sent a message to English fellow opener Ben Duckett following a social media clip surfaced that seemed to depict the player in a inebriated state prior to the Melbourne Test.

Accounts indicated that players were consuming significant amounts of alcohol during a break in the beach town of Noosa in the gap between the second and the third Tests.

"I have a good relationship with Ducky and reached out to see if he was doing okay," stated Head.

Commenting following England's victory in the Melbourne Test, Head said: "I was jealous.

"Everyone has blown it out of proportion than what it should have been.
